Job Description

  • Candidate will be the part of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) group. Our PayTV platform is a video delivery solution for all kind of devices (mobile, tablet, TV, PC, etc.). We have deployed many DevOps technologies like; puppet, Salt, IPA, Foreman, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Nomad, Harbor, Dynatrace, etc.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will be part of SRE team where he/she will be working as a Software Engineer doing deployments, accessing new technologies, understanding system and looking for improvements (if any) using and exploring all deployed DevOps tolls and technologies in system. We are open to adapt new DevOps technologies and would like to upgrade ourselves on regular intervals, this would be another exciting task, which should be done on regular basis. He/she will be responsible for understanding cross functional requirements and will be responsible to create, test and deploy the same.

    QUALIFICATIONS for Xperi Hiring Freshers

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Ability to trouble-shoot and chase down problems in complex inter-connected systems
  • Willingness to investigate new tools and technologies
  • Competency in one or more scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, Python etc.
  • Basic knowledge of version control using GIT and CI-CD pipeline
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • We are the conversation team in Xperi (Inventors of IMAX, DTS, HDRadio, Tivo Stream, etc) who makes things happen!, and this is your unique opportunity to be part of a team that will be developing the next generation of conversation product with ML and AI at its core!. You will also be part of an inventor team that generates a multitude of patents year on year!Our conversation product is used by millions of customers worldwide to discover entertainment in a very intuitive yet human way.   • Responsibilities:
    • Involved in both strategic and tactical initiatives i.e creating roadmap features and support the existing customer in adding new languages which humans speak!
    • Be part of various guilds like Architect’s Guild and form crack teams that work towards making our Convo product remain State-Of-The-Art and the Go-To conversation product in the entrainment space.
    • Review API and protocol specifications to assure proper compliance are met.
    • Effective communication/healthy debates with other members of the team and third parties to ensure your designs align with the overall project goals.
    • Tweaking existing NLP Models, developing new ones, so that we don’t misinterpret any conversation whether it be an adult or a child.
    • Be part of architecture, design, and coding of intuitive features and support till launch to a million users.

    QUALIFICATIONS for Xperi Hiring Freshers

  • 0-3 years of professional experience with a computer science background
  • Excellent Team player and a high achiever in previous roles.
  • Basic understanding of cloud deployment techniques like docker, Kubernetes, microservice architecture is a plus
  • Good in Python programming, having C programming skills is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of designing large-scale systems is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a plus.
  • Excellent Team player and a high achiever in previous roles.
  • Good at Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field; M.S. is a plus.
